The Ritz Resort, Gold Coast - Terms

Reservations made for apartment accommodations are subject to the following conditions:

Keys
The accommodation keys will be handed over by the contact person once the remaining balance has been paid including the security deposit and any other additional costs. All costs will appear previously in the reservation confirmation. When the keys are handed over to the customer he/she must supply a photocopy of his passport, identity card or a credit card.

Deposit
As already indicated in the reservation confirmation, in order to obtain the keys to the accommodation the customer must pay the indicated amount of deposit. This deposit will be return by the contact person after assuring that the accommodation is in the same conditions as when the customer entered.

Occupancy
The number of persons occupying an apartment must coincide with the number of persons in the confirmation. It is forbidden to make any change in the number of persons from what is indicated in the reservation without previous notifying The Ritz on the beach Resort. Any change to the number of persons can incur an extra charge to the total of the reservation.

Damages, deterioration and missing objects
The renter is responsible during his/her stay in the accommodation for the condition of the accommodation. As such he/she is responsible for any type of breakage, deterioration or loss that is produced in the apartment, furniture, appliances, keys etc. The owner can demand the payment of the object, deteriorations and/or damages caused which will be deducted from the deposit and if this does not cover the costs the renter must pay the difference. Also the renter promises the respect the rules of the accommodation and those of the neighbors. The renter promises to communicate immediately with the contact person any damage, breakage or loss that is produced.

Cleaning
The renter promises to return the apartment in the same state of cleanliness as when he entered except for dirtiness incurred through normal and acceptable use of the accommodation. The Ritz on the beach Resort can provide a cleaning service at an additional cost.

Check Out
Normal check out time is 10am. Late check-out is subject to availability, i.e. if the apartment is booked out for the night of departure, late check-out is not available.
Failure to check-out at agreed time may result in additional fee charged of 1 nights rate plus the cost of packing, moving and storage of your belongings. We reserve the right to enter the apartment after agreed check-out time and move and store your belongings if necessary.

Booking modification
Prolonging the length of stay is possible when there is availability for the additional nights requested. Any increase to the length of stay contracted will result in an increase of the total price in accordance with the existing prices for the accommodation.
If there are any changes to the details supplied by you, it is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate any such requests, we cannot guarantee that such requests can or will be met. In such circumstances, there will be no refund of moneys paid on your original booking.

Booking cancellation
You may cancel your booking at any time by notifying The Ritz on the beach Resort. You will be advised at the time of booking what charge will apply as a cancellation fee, according to the individual accommodation. All bookings are subject to our cancellation policy listed below. All cancellations must be communicated in writing via fax or email.
In the case where the client does not show up at the apartment without previously canceling the reservation, the apartment owner can charge them the cost of the first night.
If notified of cancellation in advance a cancellation fee of $100.00 applies.

General
These terms and conditions contain some exclusions and limitations of liability. If any part of the conditions proves to be not valid or unenforceable, the rest of the conditions will remain valid. The invalid or unenforceable condition will be deemed as supplanted by an enforceable and valid form conveying the same meaning. Any dispute will be governed by the non-exclusive law and jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
You agree that your use of this website does not imply that any partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship exists between you and The Ritz on the beach Resort.
